The club is still moving forward, new coaches [plural!], new bar, thanks to Steve Powell and the brewery, new first and second team captains and new sponsorship being lined up.
I could use your help to build up a club database of all members and friends. Especially those people who are old friends but we don’t see very much, I’m thinking about Ray swift (Swifty), Keith Wood (Reg) and the members from twenty and thirty years ago, they aren’t all dead yet.
I'll use the database to send out news of functions and committee meetings etc.
I would also like any data about the skippers and teams from long ago, and any gossip. Please send info to the club email address at-

Club Details
Warley RFC are always looking for new players & members. If you would like to learn the game or return to the game, why not join us at Warley RFC.
We meet for training every Tuesday evening 7:00pm at the Warley Sports club in Tatbank road Oldbury (formerley Rhodia) and we play on Saturdays at the new pitch at the same venue.
For the younger 'colts' and juniors we have training and coaching on Sunday afternoons.
All ages up to 18years.

Directions: From Jct2 M5 follow A4123 to
Birmingham. Turn left at traffic lights at the Wing Wah chinese resturant (formally the Hen & Chickens pub). Continue 1 mile (approx) over traffic island at the Merrivale pub, to traffic lights, turn LEFT into Tatbank road. Club is 800m(approx) on the left.
(There is a sign above the fence saying Warley RFC)
Club Colours: Red & White hoops(shirt & socks), black shorts.
