Correspondence
The rearranged fixture with Chaddesley is being considered by them.
The RFF have turned down our application for funding over two portacabins. B Davies to check on the cost of hiring these cabins.
Reports
House and Grounds
The turfing of the football centre circle has taken well. The goal posts are being replaced, labour courtesy of Martin Taylor.
We have a new club Sutton United U 14’s whose opposition have to place their custom in the clubhouse. Cresconians now have three teams not four, their fourth team have been replaced by BNJS Mann, a Saturday team whose opposition are required by their league to socialise after the game. Crescs 4th team will play at St Johns at a full rent. Smethwick Labour [Spud’s F C] FC are at St Johns. Rookery FC are changing their name to Warley Sports FC.
The left changing rooms have been cleared and the floor will be waterproofed to ease cleaning, right changing rooms will be next.
The Health and Safety inspection report is and has been acted upon, Steward Bright is making the necessary improvements.
S Lamb to urge S Powell to finish off the detail of the clubroom renovations.
Go Play Rugby plan is accepted, at training there will always be someone to welcome a new face. August functions will lead up to Family Day on August Bank Holiday which includes Old Players Lunch, we expect to attract 15-20 new players as a result
Communication with members
S Lamb averred that emails are out texts are in. A new system will include company phone numbers and addresses.
Financial Organisation
Bookable Friday evenings are proving very financially rewarding. Bookings are flooding in.
Security
A new widow has been fitted at the front of the clubhouse.

We have a joint lottery bid with Warley Boxing Club.
P Davies-The second team fixtures have been amended, 1st and 2nd Team fixtures are listed on the notice board.

Reports
Chairman- Steve Benham to go to St Johns to put a timer on the immersion heater. Mercury Health have come back to us agreeing to finance the access works to the tennis courts at no cost to WRFC Sports Club.
Chairman of Players- Equipment situation is still good. The past few weeks since Christmas the First Team squad have been playing well as a team, the coaching is now paying off. The Junior Section Coaches are still not ensuring that equipment is put away after each session. Mat Archdale has sent a letter saying that he is retiring due to a combination of injury and family commitments, a reply has been sent to this letter and both letters are posted in the club.
Coach – Bob reported that the playing sides are coming together, a core of first and second teamers are regularly training. Ben Smith has made his First Team debut, the first of the crop of Juniors to do so. Lee Burns has suffered a bad leg injury. Coaches are happy with the way things are going. Bob would like three more matches this season.
Finance- Rugby Club finances are sound. Social Club finances are now moving in he right direction . The number of hours worked will be kept under continual revue. All regular payments are now paid by direct debit, and The bank account balance is texed to us every Monday.
House and Grounds- The two new co-stewards are working well.
There has been one problem with a member, The club officers will collect evidence, make a descision and report back to the committee.
In spite of filling in and sending off the annual RFU information questionnaire Ross Baxter did not know that we run 14 football teams as well as two rugby teams. We will ask for provision of three portacabins to expedite women’s and children’s rugby
K Blick, our Community Coach, is paid for by WRFC and Warley Sports College. Sports College has removed their funding. SL will be asking for a minuted meeting toexplain this decision. Karl has built up an excellent reputation as coach in our target schools.
Club Steward/Member
This was dealt with under House and Grounds.
Communication with members
SRJ has established contact with several more mature ex-members, due to the good work of I Morrall.
Correspondence
A cricket all weather strip has been ordered from FLIOX. Letter from and to M Archdale has already been mentioned. The new lease has been sent to the Inland Revenue and will be lodged with Land Registry. Part funding for the Summer School has been refused, a smaller scheme will be run in place.
Sponsorship
Mick Carlow will explore the possibility of sponsorship by the GPO. M Molyneaux and B Noakes have paid their contribution re fixture list. SL will chase Challinors
Presidents Day
Ian Morrall’s vets will play Halesowen. Monday 7pm, B Davies, C Sherwood, N Bright and N Skett will meet on 16th April to consider Temporary Bar and Tent set up. Main event to start by 3pm
Dinner and Dance
Wednesbury, Mum’s and Dad’s and Junior Section RE are expected to have tables

Playing Committee will decide on awards
Young Player of Year trophy has been located.
