Crossroads beavers win district challenge flag

The above picture is of Tom, Mathew,Calum and Bret, The Crossroads Beaver Team,who won the District Beaver Challenge Flag competition held at Steeton Church Hall on Saturday 23rd Semptember 2000. The Crossroads Beavers have done exceptionally well this year in District Competitions. In April they won the District Beaver Five-a-side football competition held at Hartington School Playing fields in Haworth. They also won the District Beaver Quiz Competition in May which enabled them to represent the District in the County Beaver quiz competition - and they went on to win this as well! That is one reason all the Leaders in the group are particulary proud of the Beavers this year. There are about 25 Beavers in the Crossroads colony at present.
