ABDRA

The Apperley Bridge Residents Association represents the interests of around 200 members living in the Apperley Bridge area of Bradford. ABDRA was officially formed in June 1998, and is a properly constituted association, with audited accounts and an Executive Committee of 7 residents. ABDRA exists to develop the area of Apperley Bridge, providing opportunities for all our community by:

1. Tackling local issues

2. Maintaining a voice which reflects the needs of our residents

3. Supporting and facilitating social activities and projects

4. Working to retain a rural feel within a city environment

We are now well established and have become skilled as a campaigning pressure group.
If you live at Apperley Bridge then you are eligible to join ABDRA, and enjoy member benefits. The membership fee is £25 per household. Annual subscriptions have been suspended for 2000/2001.

Why Join? Not only will you be kept up to date with issues that affect you, but also you will have a voice in a professionally run, fully constituted ‘listened to’ organisation.

Additionally, membership entitles you to member benefits such a free quarterly newsletter and cheaper advertising concessions both in the newsletter and on this web site.
