Dear Bernard and Ernest
(The Dynamic Duo in Derbyshire),
I just wanted to say two things: first, how enormously I have enjoyed your delightful and nostalgic website on the internet, especially the pictures of the much-missed Betty Grable, who lit up my childhood in the war and post-war years.
Secondly, how interested I was in your section on Dorothy Squires, who was a great friend of mine. It was I, alas, who had the sad task of releasing the news of her death to the media on April 14, 1998. I did this at her own request, but would much rather not have had such a task.
NUMBER TWO:
Enjoyed the visit, especially the David Whitfield section. I run the David Whitfield Commemorative Association here in England, and it is nice to know he is still remembered by others. Well done and Good luck...

Like your goodselves I am Heanor born and
bred. I can`t claim to have lived in the same house for 62 years but I have lived on the same road for 61 years. Perhaps you may find time to have a look at my two sites, and maybe offer up some suggestions for other features to be included.
Unfortunately this site does display banner ads but the are not to intrusive. The western collection site does not feature any banner ads. This site became so popular that I decided to pay to have them removed. I shall be taking a look at your other sites over the next few days and I am sure I shall find many other interesting articles to pass my time.
