What do we do?
Despair doesn't work nine to five. Despair visits you in the small hours of the night when you are all alone. Despair is your solitary guest on Christmas and Boxing Day.
It comes at weekends, or when you're surrounded by people living what you might have otherwise regarded as being, 'the normal life'.
We won't offer you advice nor will we tell you what to do. Instead, we will allow you to talk about your feelings without judgement and help you to explore other options or possibilities.
Samaritans work round the clock, every minute of every hour of every day of the year. When you pick up the phone, there'll always be someone there to help you to pick up the pieces. |
Talk in Confidence
All contact with Samaritans is completely confidential within the organisation. You do not have to give your name, you cannot be traced, and no-one outside Samaritans will ever know you have been in touch. |
