Understanding Art: Looking beyond the Canvas
This course is now into its fourth year and along the way its students have explored a rich diversity of topics from the great artists of Renaissance Florence of the 15th century to the Abstract artists of the 20th century. Each year the course has been completed with a three-day visit to London to see and discuss paintings 'in the flesh' with the experts in our National Galleries. Due to popular demand it is hoped to repeat the Introductory Course in the Autumn.
