Finally, a play area

A play area is in the process of being planned to be placed on Emsley's Recreation Ground. The play area is a joint project between Faxfleet Residents Association, West Bowling and Marshfields. Funding has been found from WREN. Clean, Green, Safe Neighbourhoods. Surestart, Trident and £1000 each from Faxfleet, Marshfields and West Bowling Action Planning money, with Parks and Landscapes providing their expertise. The schools in the area are being consulted so that the children who will use it mostly will have their say in what aparatus will be placed there. The project should be completed ready for the summer holidays.
