KOPP plans to adopt and rebuild a village

The Earthquake in Pakistan last autumn devastated the lives of thousands of people in many small villages and communities. We are wanting to bring together the fundraising efforts of various groups and individuals in Keighley to focus on re-building a village's houses and school. Representatives from KOPP are in the region affected at the moment to identify the actual village and coordinate the re-building work. Anyone who is planning to raise funds is asked to consider adding their money raised to the scheme which will have the benefit of being able to feedback on the actual use to which the money has been put and to track the re-development of the village. Often funds raised are added to a larger pot and used in ways which cannot always be clearly identified.
