On the 28th of November 1983, at 8.00pm, 55 ex serving members of The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers met at the premises of the RAOB Club, at the junction of Lumb Lane and Hallfield Road, Bradford, for the purpose of forming a West Yorkshire Branch of the REME Association. Those men, whose names are listed below, became the Founding Members of the Branch, which still flourishes today.
