The club was founded in 1994 to encourage local people to participate in wheelchair sports. The club has members of all ages and abilities, male and female.

The club participates and has contacts in all sports. Members are currently invloved in Athletics, Basketball, Sailing, Road Racing, Rugby and Tennis. We are affiliated to national sports organisations.

Membership is open to all. The club has access to specialist equipment so if you would like to try a sport then there is no reason why you can't.

The club has members who wish to play sport for fun. There are also members who wish to improve and take part in national competitions.
