ONE CANCELLATION ONLY ON MAY 8TH BUT STAND BY YOUR TELEPHONE ON MAY 15TH JUST IN CASE.
PLEASE CHECK CALENDAR VERY CAREFULLY; FROM (FEBRUARY 2008) TO SEPTEMBER I CAN ONLY OFFER SPECULATIVE DATES IN SOME CASES BUT WILL CONFIRM THEM WHEN APPROPRIATE. HOWEVER TEMPORARILY IN SEPT/OCT 07 WE ARE BACK IN THE CANTEEN BECAUSE OF SCAFFOLDING AND ROOM ALARMS, SO REVERT TO THE OAKDALE RD ENTRANCE UP THE RAMP. WITH EFFECT FROM JUNE 2007 WE ARE LIKELY TO BE IN THE BOTTOM HALL, THEREFORE PARK IN THE YARD IN THE MIDDLE, ON CAMERA, AND WALK DOWN THE YARD STEPS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BUILDING, TO FIND AN ENTRANCE ROUND THE CORNER WHICH WILL BE OPEN, TAP WITH A COIN IF LOCKED, AND WE WILL HEAR YOU.
Newcomers please telephone to confirm the schedule is still running (this caution is because we occasionally cancel at short notice if there is a staff shortage).
Thursdays in term time. 7.15p.m. - 9.15p.m. At Wibsey Primary School, BRADFORD 6, at the junction of Oakdale Avenue, North Road and Northfield Road, very close to the roundabout at the top of St.Enochs Rd, Wibsey. We are occasionally located in the former bottom hall of the primary school, but mainly in the hall of the former infants school , now also the canteen (enter by the canteen door in Oakdale Ave/Northfield Rd. Parking is usually safe ( as anywhere can be), some members are opting for Oakdale Avenue just outside the canteen door or outside nearby residential housing. STOP PRESS :- since 19.4.04 parking outside the canteen entrance is now permissible in the evenings as several new street signs indicate, i.e. negating the yellow zig-zag lines.
Queries to Keith D. McDermott, 20 Ley Top Lane, Allerton, Bradford, West Yorkshire. BD15 7LT. (01274 - 494899 ).

Further details:-
Outdated details, here and on the message board, are deliberately left listed to show the range of our activities; we are always active, alive and kicking. Wibsey Primary Folk Dance group is a class for adults. A low heel is very suitable footwear.
No partner necessary (unless you wish to), we mix cheerfully. We are introduced to, and dance , Playford and modern Playford-style dances, Community Dance Manual dances and modern community dances, and occasionally American square dances. Music is provided by records, tapes and piano. Give us a trial whirl - we need bodies to make up sets!!! *********************************************** Longer sessions are available on Saturdays (2.00 - 6.15p.m.) 29th September 2007 and 24th November 2007 at the Carlisle Business Centre, Carlisle Road, Manningham, Bradford 8, usually in the main hall, sometimes in the reception area, if not then downstairs in rooms as directed by the security staff.
Enter the CCTV controlled car park via Conduit Street ,but don`t use the Barclays Bank car park (that`s not on camera). Or, the security's recent recommendation is to drive along the street below the Business Centre, park in the yard by the very windows of the dance hall, and enter through the French windows. Bring a snack, we provide liquid tea, bring a cup. Talented Malcolm Dews provides the music on piano accordion. Caller :- Keith McDermott. ************************************************
************************************************ At the Wibsey sessions, the final Thursdays in the Autumn and Summer terms take the form of 'party night' extended to about 11 p.m and dancers bring food and drink to contribute to a Jacob`s Join/Pot Luck/ faith supper. ***********************************************
