Our club was formed in 1969 and gradually expanded to include teams for all age groups from U11s to a Youth team. We play at the Pedestal ground which is situated on the A4010 near the junction of the A40 at West Wycombe. Over the years we have lost most of the teams as we were unable to get managers to look after them. A senior team moved away from the club some years ago to join the High Wycombe Sunday Football Combination League and play at Broomwade using the name 'Hithercroft'. However, we still had a Youth team that played in the South Bucks Youth League during the 2004/5 Season. The Youth team moved into the High Wycombe Sunday Football Combination League for the 2005/6 season retaining the name 'Hithercroft Youth' initially being placed in a newly-formed Division 5. At the end of this, our first season in the league, we ended up as Division Champions and were promoted to Division 3 when we changed our name to 'Afc Hithercroft'. By the end of that season we attained 2nd place and were promoted to Division 2 for the 2007/8 season. As we finished in 4th place we are continuing in Division 2 for the 2008/9 season but hope that, with new players, we will gain promotion at the end of the season.
