PENN AND TYLERS GREEN TENNIS CLUB

COME AND PLAY TENNIS AT PENN AND TYLERS GREEN TENNIS CLUB
The club is situated in Elm Road and shares the ground with the football and cricket clubs. The members of all three clubs are all members of the Penn and Tylers Green Sports and Social Club whose clubhouse has a bar, changing rooms and showering facilities.
The club has three hard courts all of which are floodlit enabling evening tennis to be played in both summer and winter.
Although matches permitting members are welcome to use the courts at any time the following occasions offer the best chance to meet other members:
Monday and Wednesday evenings - Senior club night Tuesday and Thursday mornings - Ladies mornings Friday evening - Junior club evening Saturday morning - Junior coaching Sunday morning - mens morning
Informal fun tournaments are usually run on the first Sunday of every month and offer an excellent opportunity to meet and socialise with other members. Summer tournaments usually involve a barbecue. The club runs a number of popular social events during the year.
MATCHES - During the summer months the club fields two men's teams and two ladies teams in the Bucks Shield league competition. We also field three mixed teams in the Wycombe and District Mixed Tennis League (evening matches). In the winter we also field ladies, mens and mixed teams in the veterans league and a mixed team in the Farnham Common League.
JUNIOR COACHING - We have a thriving junior section and field teams at various age group levels.Coaching takes place on Saturday mornings and is graded according to the ability of the youngsters.
