Blacon YC, Cairns Crescent Playing Fields
To Chester, along A41, then towards Countess of Chester hospital. Turn right at the next roundabout (safeways on left) as if going to Sealand Road retail park.
At next roundabout take exit for Blacon.
Follow road into Blacon, along Blacon Avenue to the parade of shops on the right hand side.Take the left turning opposite the shops, first right, Western Avenue,second right,Melbourne Road, first right Cairns Crescent. |
Kelsall FC, Dog Lane, Kelsall
M53 towards Chester, then continuing to A55 (Chester by-pass), onto the A51 (A54) towards Tarvin. Follow signs for Kelsall (A54). From this road, the Kelsall by-pass, follow the signs to the village (turning right off the A54). Follow the road to The Oak pub, then take the left by the pub into Dog lane. Changing rooms and pitch are the end of the Lane.

Barrow Athletic
From M53/A55, onto the A51 towards Tarvin. Turn left off the A51 at the Stamford Bridge pub, heading for Great Barrow. The ground is on Barrow recreation ground in the village. |
Grange Athletic, Ellesmere Port
Grange play at the back of the Ellesmere Port stadium (where we used to play Sutton Black Lion and Tessuti Saviours all those years ago!
Come off the M53 at Jct 10 (Cheshire Oaks), go up to Sainsburys and then staright over the roundabouts.
Past the Coliseum as if heading to Ellesmere Port.
take a right turn into Dover Drive opposite Stanney High School (or whatever they have renamed it).
Follow the road down andthen to the right before bearing left towards the Motorway and the stadium. Park in the car park at the near end of the stadium. Enjoy the walk through a wasteland before you get to the pitch! (And the willies was thought unsuitable for West Chehsire football!!!)

Chester Nomads
Chester Nomads play at Boughton Hall Cricket Club in Chester. As usual M53 then A55 to Chester. Turn off at the A51 (Vicars Cross) heading into Chester. After about half a mile along Vicars Cross Road, turn left along Filkins Lane. Then next left onto Boughton Hall Lane. |
Poulton Vics
Exit M53 after Junction1, following signs for Wallasey Docks.
At roundabout, first (immediately) left into Poulton Bridge Road, then immediate right into Limekiln Road.
Along Limekiln Road, then 6th street on left should be Rankin Street. Victoria Park is at the end on the right. |

From Liverpool:
Follow signposts for East Lancashire Road A580 East bound to St. Helens.
At ‘Windle Island’ traffic signals turn right onto the A570 (signposted St Helens).
Immediately turn right onto the B5201 Bleak Hill Road (signposted St. Helens RLFC, Eccleston, Prescot) Entering St Helens.
Following Bleak Hill Road down the hill and round the bend, pass Bleak Hill School on your left.
Turn right onto Gunning Avenue follow the road round to the left onto Broadway.
Turn right onto Walmesley Road. Turn right into the car park after just after the row of shops on the right.
