Presentation Evening
 Last night Hesketh Hall saw the end of season Darts presentation night. The Bebington Liberals had good support with almost all team members present. The Beb Libs A, having got to 5 finals (and losing all 5 of them) walked away with a massive 12 trophies. A fantastic collection after a brilliant season.
The B team was not left out either, picking up the finalists trophy for the 2nd division plate cup. This was collected by a jubilant Iain Joyce.
The liberals hope to continue winning silverware next season, and transfer speculation rife, who knows what the new look teams will be.

WINNER OF THE WEEK
A massive match, and a fantastic performance from the whole team. This weeks winner of the week is the whole Beb Libs team and their faithfull Suporters.

Semi-final glory
Last night (April 3rd) saw one of the most amazing games of darts ever witnessed. The semi-final of the league plate cup saw The Bebington Liberals B Team battle it out against a strong Bromborough team. Expectations were high, and although the squad was on the bones of its arse, the support was there. 'The Adonis' Jimmy, Tommy, Eddie, MorganL, Hilly, Douglas, Matty P, plus others formed a crowd which was compared on the night to the Nau Camp.
First up was 'Headgear' himself, and didn't he play well. 1-0 up, a perfect start. Next was Craig 'The Lumberjack.' Unfortunately, he couldn't extend the lead, and neither could 'the BoyceMonster.' 2-1 down and with our backs to the wall. Its Hammer Time. Lee steps up, full of inspiration and takes the game. 2-2 . Dr Lurve tries to take us into the lead, and we were grateful you came, but you can sit down now. 3-2 down and 'The Pugilist' steps up. 180 in practise boosted the young Port'ites confidence and he brought us back to 3-3. The atmosphere was electric as both groups of fans were urging their players on. Eddie Joyce was next up to make it 4-3, but it wasn't to be. 4-3 down, and it was time for the legend to step up. Tommy Toole, as cool as you like (i actually saw an ice cube fall out of his arse he was so cool) stepped, and after a bit of mumbleing, took the game. 4-4 and the biggest game was left to Alex Griffiths. He was already half bladdered having been at the Railway for a few. No messing around, the shouts from the crowd were of genuine encouragement. Straight off with 68, Pigeon Boy spread his wings and flew. Double 1, MADHOUSE. Sealed with a kiss.
5-4 and the Libs are in the final.

BEATEN BY A GIRL, ha ha ha ha ha ha
ALTHOUGH IN FAIRNESS SHE WAS AMAZING
On Tuesday night, the Beb Libs B took on the mighty Dibbensdale, down at the Dibby, in the third matchof the summer league. The Liberals won the match 6-3, making that 2 wins out of the 3, only losing the week before in a tight 5-4 game.
But we don't think a match report is required for this game. Iain 'Headgear' Joyce played a woman ......... and lost. Ah ha ha ha. But no dis-respect meant at all, she was a very good darts player and went on to Beat Jimmy 'The Adonis' Jones. Enough said.
