We wanna hear from you.....

Cooper S is going to be taking a lot more photo's of their gigs around Wirral...and anywhere else which takes there fancy.
So be warned, we will be snapping unsuspecting fans in embarrasing poses, drunken stupors, and anything else which would look good on the page. We would also like your input. If you have any pictures - good, bad, but not surprisingly embarrasing, why not send them into us via email (cooper-s@lineone.net) or see us at a gig, give them to us and we'll get 'em up on the web site.

underage drinkers?

This pair of Cooper S fans were spied sipping far too much at a recent gig, so much so, that as they both began frantic dancing patterns, at least one of the ladies children abandoned the gig in shame. Who is the guilty party?

light my fire...ouch!!!

As the night got hotter and louder, at least three of Cooper S most vocal fans decided to emulate the Wembley Arena and hold lighters to the sky. So far so good but as the effects of the ale wore in, and hands wavered there was a painful connection between flame and skin. A case of arson about lads!

mommie dearests!

The two proud mums sat in The Halfway House are looking eagerly at the stage towards their two offspring. The offspring (not the band) are actually keyboard player, Brian, and Cooper S singer, Mark. It must be having an effect because Mark has stopped swearing on stage (almost!!!), and Brian is playing the keys better than ever. This is probably under threat of having bottles lobbed at them (as can be seen waiting for action on the table) by disgruntled parents and shouts of 'your letting the family name down.'

cooperettes at the ready!

Seen here preparing for the Cooper S second set at The Halfway House on the 19th January, are Lesa, Leanne and Claire. The girls were on their way to a Saturday night on the town but made space to catch their favourite band. Congratulations to Lesa on her recent new addition (not shown). Still looking good kid, and they were only drinking lemonade all night!.

the half time oxo.....

The crowd at the gig taking a well earned break following the Cooper S first set. This quiet, well behaved audience hardly moved an inch towards the bar area during the break, preferring to discuss world politics and the state of the euro. They then returned to face the other way when Cooper S went back on stage and provided polite ripples of applause and comments such as , "what a jolly professional set of chaps these are" and "I wonder if I asked politely, would they play some selections from Steps."

sorry mate, but......

The divine and diminutive Paula has been caught on camera giving a polite knock back to possibly one of Wirral's most good looking guys around (ahem! not me honestly!!!). Under the loud sounds of Cooper S ripping out another tune, she was heard to say at Christmas time to the charming one, "kiss YOU under the mistletoe?, I wouldn't kiss YOU under anesthetic."

rock ferry stars....

Pictured to the right is the Cooper S singer, Mark, with two of the stewards at the 2002 Rock Ferry Fete. It became apparent that being a trend setter the singer had approached them to get a borrow of their yellow safety jackets, however, both Jo and Dee were less than impressed and proceeded to hurl him onto the bouncy castle, where, with some difficulty and wildly bouncing up and down he carried on with the Cooper S set - nice one Jo and Dee!

taking it to the max...

Having recovered from his bouncy castle ride, Mark wandered around the Rock Ferry Fete site, until he bumped into Maxine, the show organiser. Ever the helpful one, Max is seen holding the singer in the upright position, before booking the band for next year and then leading him back to the bouncy castle.

livin on the edge...

Here's a shot of our Paul, taken unawares and looking remarkably like the guitar hero of U2, namely, The Edge. To be fair to the long term friend of Cooper S, the black wooly hat was added to Paul's head via computer trickery at a later date, but he still looks like The Edge - a case of pulling the wool over Paul's eyes.

sleepy time Jim....

The Halfway House on a dark Saturday night in October, welcomes the hypnotic charms of Jimbo - obviously having a deep sleep effect on Paul (right) - together with his lovely wife Lorna and Paul’s partner, Paula. Jim is the web maestro behind the web site for the International Guitar Festival (coming to a Wirral near you in November). Fortunately, his hypnosis trick didn’t spread as far as the stage as Cooper S picked up their dusters and Spray Pledge and turned in yet another polished performance!
