A bereavement service has been set up, providing emotional care for anyone going through the process of bereavement.

FCL provides a confidential, caring, non-directive approach in supporting anyone who would benefit from counselling, dealing with any issue affecting emotional well being.

FCL does not record calls, but occasionally, a colleague may listen in to calls using an additional ear piece. The purpose of this call is to offer support to new helpline volunteers. All calls are completely confidential within FCL.

You can speak in total confidence with one of our volunteers about anything that is troubling you. We will not judge you, but will try to help you think things through.

The first counselling session costs £5.00. Subsequent sessions cost between £5.00 and £35.00 per session. What you pay depends on your available income and is your decision.
