Hi,

A very warm welcome to the website of the Friends of Newton Park in Timperley, Cheshire.

We are a newly-created group established to work with Trafford Council, the local community and other partners to safeguard and improve the facilities in this local park.

We hope you find this site more and more informative as time progresses and as more information is added. Meanwhile, why not sign our guest book or, better still, join us to help improve the Park.

Annual General Meeting

You are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting at 7:30 pm Thursday 8th September 2005 at the Timperley Taverners, Park Road, Timperley.

Guest speaker - Bernard Dunphy, Principal Manager, Parks and Countryside Services, Trafford MBC.

We will be presenting the results of our recent Newton Park survey and will provide an update on the future of Watling Gate.
