30th JUNE IS THE DAY

This year’s Gala promises to be even better and more exiting that last years. We have managed to secure a number of new attractions for this year’s event, which takes place at the Junior School on the 30th June staring at 11:00am and finishing at 3:00pm.
With over 30 stalls at this year’s event we can promise you and the family a great day out, as well as supporting our efforts in raising as much money for the 2 schools as we possibly can.
Our main new attraction this year will be a set of 6 trampolines, we will of course have our now famous Mega Slide and Bouncy Castle. We will have a lot of our traditional stalls along with some new ones for this year.
We will, of course be providing entertainment during the day along with a special guest appearance. You will need to watch this web page for details nearer the time.
Our catering team will be preparing both Hot and Cold buffet style meals on the day along with snacks. Ice Cream will also be plentiful on the day.
So, given the essential ingredients of some sunshine and your fantastic support we should be able to raise lots and lots of money for both schools, which as we all know will help all our children and future children reap the benefits of the additional funding for those initiatives that fall outside the LEA funding structure.

THANK YOU
WELLFIELD SCHOOLS GALA 2001 SATURDAY 30th JUNE
Now the dust has settled and the money counted & safely banked the Wellfield 2001 Gala Committee which represents the interests of both schools would like to express and extend a massive “THANK YOU”. To everyone who bought & sold draw tickets, helped on the stalls, baked, the country dancers, the 5-a-side footballers, everyone who sponsored, or donated goods/produce. Our thanks also go to everyone who supported us & visited us on the day.
This years Gala was undoubtedly a fantastic success not only raising a sum of just over £4000 (split equally between the schools) but provided the opportunity for families to meet teachers and other parents in a social & fun environment.
Please be assured that every penny of the £4000 will be used to benefit the children of today and tomorrow and will help provide those extras that fall outside the LEA funding structure.
To all those of you who will be leaving Wellfield this year may we take this opportunity to wish you well and thank you for the support you have given to both the P.T.A. and Friends over the years.
On behalf of the P.T.A. and The Friends we wish you all a very relaxed summer break and look forward to seeing you in September and hope you will be in a position to support our events next year including our 2002 Gala. Both the P.T.A. and friends will be holding their respective AGMs in September; we extend a warm invitation to all parents to come along.
Once again, our sincere thanks for your support that enabled the day to happen and for making it such a huge success.
