Hale Civic Society was founded in 1965 and involves a group of people, mainly residents of the area, who care a great deal about the preservation, conservation, development and improvement of features within Hale, Hale Barns and Ashley.
We also concern ourselves with general public amenities and features of historic, architectural or public interest in the neighbourhood.

We like to encourage young people to take an interest, so there is a Junior Civic Society for the under 16's, where during school holidays we embark on trips and adventures.
