Booking The Jalapenos.

So you wanna book the band? Then read this! IMPORTANT! The Jalapenos may be crazy but they ain't stupid - only phone if your booking will be for one of the following: An established pub or club music venue with a suitable licence and featuring live bands on a regular basis. A motorcycle or car rally/event or similar. A music festival or corporate event. A college or university engagement. Please note that the band usually only undertakes bookings in the north west of England and north Wales but will obviously consider travelling further if the venue is good and, to quote Dr Feelgood, as long as the price is right. The band has it's own PA and lights for small venues but anywhere over about 250 capacity will require a suitable system to be provided. (and not out of the bands fee) PLEASE DO NOT PHONE FOR THE BAND TO PLAY AT: Any kind of private function such as a birthday or wedding or similar. There are very many reasons for this and it would be far to tedious to list them all here but please do not waste your time phoning about this kind of event as you will not receive a reply. You may think this makes the band sound really miserable but it's best to make the point clear straight off rather than letting people phone only to be disappointed. MAKING THAT CALL You need to phone or text the band hotline on 07985759312. Please leave your name, the proposed date, the venue name and full address or postcode. If you do not do this you may not receive a reply. You must leave a message as this phone will not be answered by an actual human or trained chimp - the phone is sealed in a secure box on an orbitting satelite and as such is out of reach, but do not worry, all messages are beamed down to Jalapenos HQ when the Earth is in the correct alignment (or something). CHARITY EVENTS The band give their services to several charities on a regular basis and due to time restrictions are not currently looking to take on any more. However if you organise an established charity event that is well attended and suitable then it may obviously be considered. Please leave full details and the band will respond if available.
