Newly formed Jazz group

What could be nicer than spending a Saturday lunchtime sitting in the sun, drinking a nice cool pint of beer and listening to a swinging jazz quartet whilst the rest of the world rushes by? Well the weather was right, there was a pub near by and some of the music was reasonable (click on a picture below to hear the band there are two choices, one with a soprano sax and one with an alto sax). Since the recording was only a trial in the square at Nantwich Cheshire the quality and balance are not good and the audience had to have a good gossip but they do give an idea of the music which the band plays. Was the world rushing by? Well Nantwich is a small Cheshire market town and people in general don't rush OVERSAXED are a recently formed jazz group. As suggested by the name the group are led by one or more saxophones with a three piece rhythm section. The intention is to play music which,although not always well known, is plesant to listen to. The style and the content will vary dependant on the exact line up of the band and the audience. The band is available with various combinations ranging from a single sax with electronic backing to a six piece band with 3 saxophones and rhythm section.
