Rendezvous are Jane Almond on Lead vocals and Keyboards and Paul Britton on Vocals and Guitars.
They've been described as Acoustic roots with a bit of folk, country and rock thrown in. So they have a wide variety of sounds that would fit your venues needs.
Whats different about this band, is that all of their songs are original.  Some are up tempo songs some slow romantic ballards.   The passion and feelings that they convey throughout their songs has to be heard to be believed.   Janes voice is so powerful and melodic yet sweet and soft at the same time.   Pauls the best rytham guitarist seen in the Northwest for a very long time.
Rendezvous have been together since August 2001 but only started gigging around Easter 2002.   Their gigs are too many to list but they have appeared at several prominent musical venues including the Blue Cat Cafe Heaton Moor, Band on the Wall, Citrus Bar, Timesis and Star and Garter in Manchester and the Hapenny Bridge in Dublin, where the owner hopes to have them back in the near future.  We've also head lined the Unsigned Showcase magazine launch at the Fez club led by Luisa Seacroft in Reading and supported Sharp Practise Nigel Clothier's band  in the recent launch of their new album Radiocity.
Rendezvous also run a monthly night at the Star and Garter which showcases local talent enabling them to gain a greater exposure that they usually do at Open Mic sessions.
This is held the first Saturday of each month so why not come down and say hi to Rendezvous as they play you a few of their songs. 
 
Rendezvous  have also more recently received a Danish review of their Demo 'Storm in the Teacup' which speaks very favorably of them  and our songs are currently being played at a local radio station.
