Who?
The Bridge come from Warrington Cheshire, in the short space of time they have been together they have recorded a highly succesful demo 'All about the weekend' at Parr Street Studios, and beat off 5 other bands in Central London to win battle of the bands.
As well as being regulars at 'the white hart' in Warrington, 'The Picket' in Liverpool, 'The Dancehouse, Night n Day, and The Attic in Manchester, and 'The Fountain' and the 'CherryJam in London, they have had interest from a number of record companies including 'Holier than thou records' and the big guy 'EMI'. They are also one of the most hated bands in their home town. They are known as: The Sick Six
Why The Hatred?
Because there all drug crazed maniacs and have a reputation for violence. And the vibes just to damn strong. Like a jack hammer to ya skull, BANG BANG BANG.
But the Music?
The music is the one thing you can't hate...
Listening to the bridge will hit you like an acid induced slap to the face, you will experience visions of phycadelic madness combined withPage'esqe 70's riffs, covered with a smooth bass tone to make your skin crawl right back to where you left it.
The Bridge have a truly individual sound, taking elements of bands like the Doors, Happy Mondays, Zeppelin and James Brown and merging them into there own unique wall of sound.
The Fans?
Absolutely Insane, be prepared to get stamped on and covered in spit.
What Next?
The world man, and I aint on about that shithole nightclub in Warrington.
