“BOLDLY GO” ?

“God made the earth hospitable
with plenty of time and space for living,
so we could seek after God,
and not just grope around in the dark
but actually find him.
he’s not remote; he’s near.
We live and move in him, can’t get away from him!”

A translation of words of St Paul, spoken in Athens,

recorded in the New Testament,

Acts of the Apostles, chapter 17.

The Mission of, what is known locally as “Bold Street Methodist Church”, is to support those who want to discover, with us, a fulfilled life for today. We believe that life is rooted in a spiritual pilgrimage of discovery.
We wish to stand alongside those in that search, especially those with little or no church or religious background, or those who have found their church experience unhelpful.
In that task we believe we follow the practise of the founder of the Methodist movement, John Wesley.

The pages associated with this web site outline some of the work we undertake. We hope you enjoy learning more about the Mission, and will use our Guest Book. We hope soon to have an additional independent website, but are grateful to Communigate for this provision.

Deacon Gwynn Bamford, Minister.
