Mission Picture Gallery: Celebrities support reconciliation !
Through the years many celebrities as well as leading politicians have supported the Warrington Ireland reconciliation initiatives of the various groups gathered under the umbrella of Warrington Ireland Reconciliation Enterprise. Members of the Mission have supported the activities of such groups as Peace’93, the Community Peace Walkers and ‘the Bridge’, an organisation committed to reconciliation through arts and culture. The latest initiative of the latter was an Advent concert at Parr hall in December 2001, involving guests from Cork in the Republic and Omagh, in Northern Ireland. |  |
