Our Latest Awards
 | Weaverham Gymnastics Club.
Tuesday 3rd October 2000
Thanks to a Lottery Award which helped to found the club in March this year, 38 awards were presented to 23 gymnasts of all ages who attend the club regularly every Tuesday evening for coaching by Charlie Oakes a B.G. qualified coach. The awards were presented by Mike Hall MP. who was impressed at how well the club had done in such a short time, and how dedicated the gymnasts are. They were watched by parents and invited local people who support the centre.
The Gymnasts who gained awards are

Charlotte Harrison, Ashlie Barrow, Rebecca Moores,
Laura Hunt, Gemma Bailey, Lauren Bickerton.
The Courses are held at Weaverham Community Centre every Tuesday from 6 to 7pm and 7 to 8pm, most ages can be accommodated so if you are willing then come along to join the new course or for information Tel 01606 854088 / 853513 Jim Stelfox ( club secretary )

Awards April 2001
There will be apresentation of the next batch of awards on 3rd April, starting at 6.45pm for the first hour, 7.00pm for the second hour.
The Guest will be Nora Stopford the county councillor for Weaverham, who has kindly agreed to come along and do the honours.
This is a list of those who qualify, some may be omitted as yet but will qualify before the date.

sorry for and names spelt wrong but this will be rectified on the certificates, remember you must order your certificate and badge if you want them.
As the club can't afford to pay the £1.50 for each gymnast, as it cost over £1,000 for each ten week course to take place.

Awards july 2001
 | Once again we hit the headlines in both local papers with our gymnasts gaining awards.
Two of our assistant coaches Cheryl Mahon / Kimberly Stelfox gained their assisant club coach award presented by Barry Starnes of Weaverham Hardware & Electrical Of Lime Ave.

2002
There was a presentation in May with certificates being presented by Roger Minshull of the village Butcher's, the pictures were not very good due to a camera fault.
There will be another presentation this december at the childrens Xmas party, for the date and time contact the centre on 854088
