2.Minutes of last AGM

Minutes of 2002 AGM proposed by Ray Howarth and seconded by Richard Samuels.

3 Update on group achievements and future plans

Ray Howarth welcomed the audience and briefly described the Woodsend Community Group activities over the last 12 months. These included The Learning Forum creating various courses at the Scout Hut and Daffodil Planting. Because other areas are doing great things he hopes we can create a 5 year plan where small groups of people gather together to carry out improvements under the umbrella of the Woodsend Community Group.


Statement of Accounts

Graham Heslin went through the Balance Sheet the accounts were passed by the meeting.

Election of Committee

Graham Heslin proposed the existing committee were re-elected, this proposal was accepted by the meeting.

Stock Transfer
Hazel Abbot stated that the Stock Transfer Visiting Team has a target to speak to 2000 people. This target has been passed. The aim of the interviews is to ensure the handout is understood. Therefore, reduce the number of problems when Stock Transfer takes place.

Jan 2004 Offer Document issued 28 days to read document.

Officer is to visit each property to ensure document has been received.

Protocol to be voted on March/April 2004.

Any Other Business

The Shelter flat is not for sale.
Trees around the Scout Hut to be cropped on leaves removed. Ray Howarth said he would try and get something done.
Faulty Street Lamps, if the identity number is given to Councillor Reilly or Sue Pearson it can be followed up.
Improving the heating in the Scout Hut can be raised at the Area Board.
Valley Rd parking on the grass verge, a letter is to be sent out by Ian Grieval.
Bushes have been cut down at back of Council Flats and new bushes planted. Ian Grieval

copies of the local open space leaflet were passed around the meeting. These showed successes in other areas. Gary Devine undertook to mail a copy to all present. A meeting for Trafford in Bloom was fixed for Wednesday 7th January 2004.
Sue Pearson
has been involved in:

The installation of a CTTV camera at Woodsend Circle.

Holiday Activities.


Along with councillors obtaining money for local projects. Christmas Tree, Christmas Lights and Tables for Scout Hut.
Last Thursday in the Month the Police will be at Woodsend Library between 2 and 4 p.m.
Each Thursday night there is a Councillor Surgery between 6 and 7 p.m.
The raffle was drawn and the prizes distributed.

3. Update of Groups Activities

The Red Lion Recycling Bins have been adopted. The Red Lion is to be closed for upgrading; the bins are to be relocated. Richard Samuels phoned to ask for the rubbish to be removed. The rubbish was removed promptly and the committee asked for our thanks to be minuted. Graham Heslin said he would pass on our thanks.

Damage caused to Woodsend Field by Joy Riders repaired guickly, our thanks minuted.

Anti Vandal Patrol what has happened to it? This will be raised with Councillor Mrs. Reilly.

36 rolls of roof insulation have been bought by Ray Howarth and are to be installed in the near future. The quote for wall insulation is £1700.

Invitations to this meeting in the Local papers are to be investigated by Ray Howarth.

3.6 Trafford in Bloom


New meeting set up next meeting is at the Scout Hut on 4th
February at 7-00 PM.
See if members of the Gardening Club would come to the meeting.
Meeting for Group activities to be arrange at Ray Howarth’s home.

– These are now going to be "Home made" by Tenant Involvement Service, but due to the extra work loads generated by the Stock Transfer process, this will now be looked at post ballot.

The road near the recycling facility in front of the shops was reported to be in very poor condition as was the pavement in this area. Ongoing

Gary Devine has created a proposal for a £60,000 Play Area Upgrade. The proposal includes footpath, Safety Area, Railings and Swings etc. Fund raising will be required for the equipment and the Group could adopt this Ongoing.

6.3 Tree Cropping

Can trees be cropped before to improve view from CCTV before work starts on Play Area? Sue Pearson to investigate. Completed

6.4 Fencing 4 & 6 Cheriton Rd

It is on the Minor Work Schedule and is to be completed by April 2004.

6.5 Meeting Format
it may be changed to increase number of people attending meetings may alternate between Morning and Evening.

It was agreed that the Evening Meeting should start at 7pm and have a maximum duration of 1-½ hours? Ongoing.

6.6 Heating in the Scout Hut

Roof Insulation has been purchased and curtains provided. Cavity Wall Insulation is to be installed. Ray Howarth Ongoing

6.7 New Tables

Ray Howarth stated the new tables have arrived price is £450 + vat. Can the vat be removed by using the TMBC? Sue Pearson to investigate Completed.

3.1 Eleanor Kelly
(Trafford Watch Scheme Administrator) gave a brief overview of the Home Watch Scheme aims and objectives they were:


To prevent Crime and Disorder in co-ordination with Home Watch Co-ordinator.
Increase number of Home Watch Schemes in Woodsend area.
Home Watch Volunteers would be responsible for up to 12 houses.
Crime Ring would inform Co-ordinators of potential problems in their area.
The Co-ordinator would pass information on to the group.
It was pointed out some existing groups had fallen into disuse. Eleanor Kelly said she would take information and follow it up.

4. Area Team:

4.1 Sue Pearson
stated half term activities for under 8 year old children and over 8 years old children will take place at the Library. Also some places are available at a local after school minding service.

5 Impactus

5.1 Ray Howarth
visited the teaching centre on Church Rd. After discussions with the staff he found that if he could get people to complete an English course £20 would be given to the group. Ray tabled sets of forms and information and asked for people at the meeting to complete the course to increase group funds. Ongoing

The Woodsend Rd Clinic is to be planted with bulbs on Saturday 14th February. Completed

Duttons Park brighten up area 3rd March.

presented the Woodsend Community Group Chairman a cheque for £40. Also 2 Family Passes for the leisure Centre were presented.

at St Monica’s Church.

9.1 Roof Insulation has been purchased and curtains provided. Cavity Wall Insulation is to be installed - 4 New Lights installed - Wall heaters will cost £ 1000 plus installation - Calor Gas heaters are now being investigated as a possible alternative - The floor is to be cleaned and resealed during Easter Holidays at a cost of £150. 3.1 Library and Josie's out of school club were a success.
3.2 Sporting Activities not successful, unable to reach youth. Out of area scheme available.
3.3 Youth Service Outreach 2 evenings per week additional information to follow.

4 Children/Youth Activities and Funding
4.1 Youth Service Children,s Fund funding not available after end of scheme March/April 2004 for 13 + group.
4.2 Under 13 activities 100 providers in Trafford, but none working in local area.
4.3 To create a bid for available funding. A Sub Group of Volunteers could be formed to meet at the Scout Hut to review/co-ordinate possible options these include:
 Coaches for after school activities
 Holidays
 Youth in danger of crime
 Activities at the Library
Sue Frost to approach: Heads of Schools, Heads of Departments to obtain parent support.
Funding up to £2000 for a weeks activities can be obtained from Area Boards (Next 20th April at Acre Hall Primary School).

5.2 Cost of re surfacing Woodsend Green in the 2004/5 budget Cllr Reilly to follow up
5.3 Woodsend Shops Parking yellow lining cannot be carried out this because this years budget has been spent. Bus stop guard rail negotiations with GMPTE Ongoing

A presentation was given by Julie Ann Thompson the main points were:
 Trafford area generates 1,015 tons, this can be reduced by smart shopping and composting.
 Disposable Nappies are a major problem; they take up to 500 years to decompose in landfill. Promoting Terry Nappies with liner can reduce this. A free trial is available with weekly delivery and collection.
 Green Sack collecting has increased amount of paper collected.
 Pilot Scheme at Gorse Hill for collection of Modern Materials, start 2004. Please promote this initiative.
 Cllr J Reilly said using £15.00 furniture collection could reduce fly tipping information on web site. Request for written information in Library.
 Tin cans separated automatically if placed in bins.
 Woodland Trust will plant 1 tree per 1 ton of cans.
 Christmas Cards not collected by Council, collected by Tesco, W H Smith etc.
 Richard Samuels proposed vote of thanks for emptying overflowing bins at Christmas quickly.
Ray Howarth Inkjet cartridges can be returned for cash, numbers and revenues dropping. Epson cartridges not taken by most recycling units.

3 Matters Arising
3.1 Break-in at the Scout Hut
The break-in was on the 28th July 2004 the front door was damaged, the door has had to be replaced with a roller shutter door at a cost of approx. £850. A lawn mower was also taken which was valued at £600.
3.2 Upgrading the Scout Hut
A grant for £5000 has been applied for by North Trafford College to upgrade the Scout Hut

3.3 Security
It was asked if the gates were locked at night, answer No?
3.4 Recycling Centres
The £300/£400 raised for adopting the centres has not been received. Ray Howarth to check
3.5 Fly Tipping
Cllr Mrs Reilly asked if members would watch for fly tipping and report it to the council.
3.6 Concrete dumped in Car Park next to Summerfields
3.7 Cllr Mrs Reilly said she would take the problem up with Ward Councillor for that area.
3.8 R Samuels objected to the £15.00 collection pick up charge, that he believed it would increase fly tipping. Cllr Mrs Reilly said the outgoing Council brought in this cost. It was the responsibility of the residents to take waste to the tip.
Cllr Mrs Reilly made the following observations when collections were to be carried out:
The charge is £15 per 5 items.
The items are to be placed in the front garden.
The items to be put out before 8am.
The items to be dry.
The items to be identified for collection
The above is to avoid members of the Cleansing Dept being accused of: theft, taking items by mistake and damage to property.
Cllr Mrs Reilly said she would check if the above facility were still available.
3.9 B Friedman asked if the elderly could be exempt from the £15 charge?
3.10 R Samules objected to elderly residents being charged for collection, while tenants could call up a team from Urmston Housing Department.
3.11 The Stretford & Urmston Area Boards are now to be combined and will now meet quarterly. 2 Officers will be available to take complaints. This change is to be on a trial basis and may be changed latter.
3.12 R Samules requested that the Messenger Newspaper be informed of the changes.
3.13 S Pearson asked if the meeting times could be changed, as she was unable to attend in the morning. A vote was taken and the time changed to 2pm to 4pm in place of 10am to 12pm .
3.14 Can the Woodsend CCTV camera be pointed at the Post Office before 8:30am. Cllr Mrs Reilly to submit our request.
3.15 Cllr Mrs Reilly asked if any of the members of the Community Group would like to visit the CCTV Control Room?
4 Area Team. G Divine reported the following:
4.1 Planting at Irlam Rd to be done by the Gardening Club work in
progress.
4.2 Quotation for trees & hedge trimming in the Park to be chased up by I Creveul.
4.3 Design funding can not be applied owing to funding limitations.
4.4 Land issues to be discussed with Trafford Housing Trust.
4.5 Funds from the Fair on Woodsend Green have been received.
4.6 Dog Fouling in the Millennium Park. G Devine to talk to the Warden.
4.7 G Devine is trying to get a notice board erected in the park. The board would inform people of local events.
4.8 Vandalism in the Park is still a problem.
4.9 The painting program, is to include the whole of Valley Rd.

5.1 Ink Jet cartridge collection new purchaser found. funds to be split between Scouts and Lions.
5.2 R Howarth stated B&Q had turned down funding application.

5.7 R Howarth said Postcards showing the local area are available for
30p each.7p Profit to be credited to our funds.

5.3 Cllr June Reilly agreed to arrange further meetings at the Scout Hut these meeting will raise problems and monitor progress.

2.2.5 (5.3) Police Meeting Cllr June Reilly agreed to arrange further meetings at the Scout Hut these meeting will raise problems and monitor progress. At a VCAT meeting on the 20/9/2004 a Pegeen Murphy from the GMPA was introduced to the meeting. She is tasked with carrying out an Audit, from this audit a 3-year strategy is to be created. As part of the Audit she is visiting as many local groups as possible. As Councillor June Reilly is involved in organising local meetings to voice concerns about Youth Nuisance. I have sent emails to P. Murphy, Cllr Reilly & VCAT containing

contact details of each other.

An initiative to reduce underage drinking has taken place and warnings have been given and some prosecutions are taking place.

2.2.6 (6.3) Can elderly be exempt from the £15 rubbish collection charge. B. Friedman requested that over 60s and disabled should be considered S. Pearson & Cllr J Reilly will investigate when next Waste Management tender is up for renewal.

2.2.7 (6.5) Trees & hedge trimming in Park has now been placed in the Spring Autumn schedule Ongoing.

2.2.8 (7.2) Sports Pavilion & Library security to be upgraded negotiations undertaken by S Pearson completion before March 2005 Ongoing.

4.2 Police Meeting Feedback

The meeting on 2nd of September was more good humoured and the Police had made some progress. A Member of the public had been out with the Police observing how the Police were monitoring of the Youth in the Flixton/Woodsend area. He reported to the meeting that he was pleased with what he had seen. Because the meeting had to close at 7pm and some people had not been able to raise points. Cllr June Rielly said she would arrange for a progress meeting to take place in October at the Scout Hut which could be open ended.

reported the road has been in a poor state for 18 months and when will it be repaired. Cllr J. Reilly and D .McHinnon to investigate and report back to meeting.
Funding for Scout Hut Modifications Gill Bulmer
raised the subject of raising funds to carry out updates.


Cllr Reilly and TMBC staff pointed the following:

The ground the Scout Hut is built on is owned by TMBC and is part of the Stock Transfer. Therefore, Money is not available for the building.


The building is owned by the Scout Association. They do not believe they need to update the building.
G Heslin
said if the became a charity they would be able to raise funds and give it to the scouts. This option has been discussed in the past. As the majority of the committee are Owner Occupiers and reading the constitution it appeared they would be responsible for any financial losses. The proposal was therefore voted down.
Gill Bulmer
stated that she and others are becoming despondent on how the Woodsend Community Group can obtain a reasonable Community Centre?.

Gill Bulmer asked who owned the house next to the Dentist on Woodsend Road? And could this house be converted into a Community Centre? Darren McHinnon is to investigate.

1 Introduction and Minutes of last meeting.

The Chair started the meeting with a round-robin introduction

2.2.1 Ongoing, Sue Pearson.

Funding Approved for the Outreach Team to continue there work in the

borough.

A letter has been received by the Chair, Ref: Meadow line Labradors

using the Scout Hut for Dog Training and Obedience Training. The Chair

was in favour of this. It could start on the 2nd Nov 04 between 6pm-9.30

pm and on Fridays if the booking were forthcoming.

2.2.2. To date 14 people have been fined by the Dog Warden Service, and

the Dog Training could be linked into the service at some timeGary Devine,( Parks & Countryside Service) has ordered 2 sackfulls of

Daffodils for planting later in the year. He is still trying to obtain a

Notice Board for the park at Woodsend.

A member asked what happened to the proposal for the roundabout at

Wood send and the £500 that was allocated to it, Ask Cllr Reilly to

investigate.

Cost of New Inner Door for the Scout Hut:

£500

Awaiting a quote from the Insurance Company, as repairs have to be

approved by the Trafford Council. A very good job of repair was done.

A vote of thanks was given to St Johns church for the donation of £100

for the use of the Scout Group.

The current statement of accounts was given as £972.09

2.2.6Not at the moment, as Onyx have the contract for the next 7 years

Red lion : Car park, The rubbish in that area is the landlords

responsibility.

Keith Massey asked if there could be a Communal clean-up of the areas, Christian Fellowship did it last year.

Darren McKinnon said it may encourage the lazy residents to stop usinq the tip. Cllr June Reilly to investigate The Ass Cub

Master has had his property damaged by vandals at 4am causing Criminal Damage, also Passion Flowers the shop on Woodsend Circle, and a

property on Woodbridge Rd was damaged the next Police Meeting will be

held on the27th Oct 04 at 6.30pm.

Gary Devine. Has asked the schools to become involved with a Water

Feature to only 1 school has responded

Keith Massey asked about empty properties and that there is a need to

use them more to prevent Vandalism to the buildings

There are no child-care facilities in the area? St Monica's have a

playgroup but there's nothing for the mothers to do. Irlam Rd Bus Turnaround:

The land is divided between Housing/Highways,

The 1st quote for repair was very high, Phase2 Will be done at a latter

date.

Stock Transfer: Housing Corporation still have to sign-off on the deal

when they are happy with the deal.

Hopefully things will settle down when the Housing Trust is up and running

in April 05?

Service Road: Wood send Circle: In a bad state of repair, D. McKinnon to

check on the status of the work.

Darren McKinnon will hold a Housing Surgery at Wood send Library on

Mondays between2-3pm

5.5 House near Dentists 135, Woodsend Rd. Could it be used as a

Community House? The house is owned by Housing and is marked for

Disposal? There are a multitude of reasons why its marked for Disposal,

low-priority, demolition, beyond economic repair,

Keith Massey asked it could be shuttered with Steel Shutters to stop it

becoming a focus for Vandalism in the future.

HOUSING: Rear service road Wood send Circle:

Youths seen Smoking, Drinking, and Drug-Taking in the area,

The Probation Service Community Punishment Team are to remove bushes

away from the area.

Frank McGrath has produced a graph of the attendance of the group to

date, The reason for the high attendance at the start of the year was a

single-issue group who attended 1 meeting and never attended again.

Newsletter:

Could the group and Housing produce a joint Newsletter, that would be

used to produce Housing/Community items of interest including the next

AGM to be held in Dec04. A half page insert, three-quarter of a A4

Sheet the Deadline would be mid-Nov.

A member complained about youths on the playing fields doing golf also

what is the position on horses using the same.



The Chair asked if anyone was prepared to form a sub-committee to produce the newsletter. He also asked if the members wanted a social event as well as the AGM.

The 1st AGM was held at Flixton Sports Club Would they like a guest Speaker? If anyone has any suggestions to contact the Chair. Next Meeting: Will be on the 8th Nov 04 at 2pm.

3 Area Team

3.1 Next Area Board to take place on 30th November 2004 at Stretford Old Town Hall 7:00pm come early to bring up problems.

3.2 Youth Nuisance additional money approved.

3.3 South Manchester Woman’s Football League to use the Sports Pavilion at weekends.

3.4 Sports Pavilion improvements completed by March 2005.

3.5 Flixton Youth Centre Completed by end of November.

3.6 To Prevent Vandalism Woodsend Christmas Christmas_Tree & Lights to be installed in the Library.

3.7 Match funding available for Christmas Decorations any suggestions?

3.8 Funding for Library Safety features to be spent by March 2005.

3.9 G. Devine to go to local schools under Green Space Challenge. He hopes to involve local children in a Water Feature.

3.10 Irlam Road Green D. McHinnon will continue to progress this initiative.

3.11 Off Road Motor Cycling will residents keep watch and notify Police. Please note Police can now confiscate Motor Cycles.



4 Any Other Business:

4.1 G Heslin is leaving some time in December to take up a post in anther area. A vote of thanks for his efforts was proposed and seconded, and Woodsend Community Group wish him the best of luck in the future.

4.2 Road repairs to Recycling Area at Woodsend Bob Friedman reported the road has been in a poor state for 18 months and when will it be repaired. Cllr J. Reilly and D McHinnon to investigate and report back to meeting.

4.3 Funding for Scout Hut Modifications

Meeting at VCAT Sale on 17/11/04 advice on how to submit funding applications and which institutions to approach.

4.4 Architect requested to produce drawing of possible Scout Hut Modifications.

4.5 Play Group at the Toy Library 10:30 am

4.6 S Pearson to check what is the byelaw relating to activities carried out on Woodsend Playing Fields.

3 Update on group achievements and future plans

Ray Howarth welcomed the audience and briefly described the Woodsend Community Group activities over the last 12 months. These included:

Web Site created to include all residents and activities.

1,500 to 2,000 bulbs planted in Civic areas we hope to improve Woodsend Park in a similar way to Woodheys Park.

Money raised by sale of Local Calendars and Post Cards.

Scout Group numbers are reducing but courses initialised by North Trafford College has increased usage of the Headquarters by running courses such as: Keep Fit, Tai Chi, Gardening Club & Dog Obedience.

Architect has created a drawing of modifications and improvements to Scout Hut. Application for Charity Funding is being pursued.

New CCTV Cameras have been installed and tree cutting carried out to improve view.

Meetings with the Police concerning Youth Nuisance at the Scout Hut ha will continue throughout the year.





Statement of Accounts

Graham Heslin went through the Balance Sheet the accounts. John McNuff proposed the acceptance of the accounts. The meeting passed the accounts.

3.5 Irlam Road Green D. McHinnon will send letter to local residents.

3.6 Off Road Motor Cycling will residents keep watch and notify Police. Please note Police can now confiscate Motor Cycles.

3.7 Major Works £44,000 available plan is to transport local representatives around area in a Mini Bus around options then vote on allocations.

A short talk was given by Bob Orton & Ian Tootle the main points were:

It is a charity to receive anonymous information concerning criminal activity on Tel No 0800 85511. It is intended to extend the service to 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Crimestoppers started in Manchester in 1990. There are 32 regions throughout the U.K.

The WCG meeting were given the following figures for the North West Region:

17303 calls received.

4587 calls acted on.

411 arrests and charged.

£272,700 of Goods recovered.

£342,530 cars recovered.

£323,328 of drugs recovered.

28 firearms.

5 murders solved.

Crimestoppers Publicity was distributed and is still available from the Secretary.

Linda Brokenshire was introduced to the meeting. She is the new Tennant Involvement Officer she has been working as a Tennant Officer for 3 years in another area.

The estate walkabout request for volunteers has had only had 2 replies.

5.2 Lighting at rear of Woodsend circle shops is still to be carried out by Housing Ongoing.

5.3 D McKinnon is to meet with Neighbourhood Wardens to discuss local litter problems and have a Clean-up Day involving THT, TMB staff & local residents Ongoing.

1. Introductions and Administration:

1.1 Ray Howarth opened the meeting thanking all for attending. A round robin introduction was carried out to introduce each other.

2 Matters Arising from Previous Meetings

2.1 Insurance for tree cutting Garry Devine to check if it is active answer No Completed.

2.2 Youth Nuisance to be policed by: Street Crime Patrols, Park Watch wardens, Community Safety Wardens to start 2 wardens transferred 2 being trained July /August Ongoing.

2.1 Water dripping from end flat on Woodsend Rd, adjacent to Fox & Hounds. Ownership of flat to be investigated and owner informed. The water is still dripping Cllr Reilly to take this up with Environmental Services Completed.

2.2 Flixton Youth Centre meeting asked for information on how it is being used between 9-5pm. It is used by the Starting out Project this is to help teenagers apply for work placements. Sue Pearson Completed.

2.3 Funding for Scout Hut Modifications Ray Howarth Ongoing

2.4 A discussion of the byelaws relating to activities carried out on Woodsend Playing Fields and how to indicate restrictions. And possible signs a series of symbols have been placed under the Park Signs in other areas Ongoing.



3.0 Trafford in Bloom

3.1 G. Devine Judging entries Green Space Challenge to be open up to senior and junior next year. Ongoing.

3.2 Garry Devine has Trees to be planted Please phone 748 4356 to volunteer. It is too late now will be done in the Autumn Ongoing.

3.3 Money allocated to improve path surface near Children’s Playground Woodsend Park Ongoing

3.4 Photographs required of activities carried out for Urmston in Bloom portfolio. Photographs sent to Gary Devine or Sue Pearson by 21st May. Ongoing

3.5 Woodsend Gardening Club to investigate adopting Woodsend Library Planter and to encourage shops and pub to have floral displays Ongoing Sue Pearson.

3.6 Gary Devine is to meet with S Wrigley to investigate possibility of local churches carrying out local cleanup Ongoing.

3.7 Fencing around Woodsend Park may be carried out with breaks for access. Estimate and Storage Containers to be finalised Ongoing.

3.8 Sub Group to be formed for consultation on new projects.

3.9 Green Fund details will be given at meeting at Urmstat in Urmston Shopping Precinct at 6:30 pm Monday. To identify funding available.

4.0 Area Team

4.1 Land next to CO-OP is the responsibility of the CO-OP letter is to be sent to them instructing them to keep area tidy. Cllr Reilly Ongoing



5.0 Housing

5.1 GMP to be involved in planning installation of lighting at the back of shops on Woodsend Green Darren McKinnon Ongoing.



5.2 Irlam Road Green D. McKinnon will send letter to local residents road modifications funded Ongoing

5.3 Road repairs to Recycling Area at Woodsend Bob Friedman reported the road has been in a poor state for 18 months and asked when will it be repaired. Cllr J. Reilly and D McKinnon to investigate and report back to meeting. Resurfacing & Line Marking to be carried out under Minor works Funding See Below. D McKinnon has been informed the work on the Green at Irlam Rd and resurfacing the lay-by at Woodsend circle shops has remained with the TMB. Therefore, it is no longer part of the Minor Works Programme. Can responsibly be identified and what are the completion dates? Sue Pearson & Cllr Reilly Ongoing.

5.4 Lighting at rear of Woodsend circle shops is still to be carried out by Housing Ongoing.

5.5 D McKinnon is to meet with Neighbourhood Wardens to discuss local litter problems and have a Clean-up Day involving THT, TMB staff & local residents Ongoing.

5.6 May Newsletter a draft was presented to the meeting for approval.

It contains articles concerning: Fundraising for Scout Hut, Adult Learning Courses & Open Day at Acre Hall School Ongoing.

5.7 The estate walkabout request for volunteers has had only had 2 replies. Date for meetings with Grot Spot Warden Dave Dale to be arranged later bus will be available 27th May Ongoing.

5.8 A member raised the problem she had holes in her window frames.

D. McKinnon stated a schedule of work for the next 3 years is to be published in the next Housing Newsletter Ongoing.

5.9 Clean-Up day Tuesday 7th of June Skips will be available Ongoing.

5.10 Sue Pearson will produce a Clean-Up day Poster Ongoing.



6 Any Other Business

6.1 Police Meeting at Scout Hut on Wed 22/6/05 6:30pm

6.2 Motorised Scooters are illegal ring Police.

6.5 Thanks to Roger Ovens for cutting the grass around the Scout Hut on a regular basis.

6.7 Trafford in Bloom will allocate funds to improve outside of Scout Hut Ongoing.

6.8 Disabled Ramps to be retained at the Scout Hut after Polling Day.
