David and Sheila Bawden looking for old friends in Dorchester.

I spent many happy years in Dorchester, living at 2 Castle Row North Square from the late 1940's to the mid 1950's, and always meant to keep in touch with school friends, but never did. People like (Joe) Brian Foote, Ruth Christopher, whose father owned the butcher shop in North Square (they lived on Colliton Street), Brian Harris whose father was the publican of the only pub in North Square.

My father Henry Bawden was a prison Officer at Dorchester through this period and a scoutmaster along with Bob Manning.
