The club organizes an annual Antique Bottle & Collectors fair . The event was moved to a new venue in 2008, the Village Hall at Minstead , Nr. Lyndhurst, Hampshire.The event was a success with all stalls sold and will be held at the same venue in 2009. The Hall is an established venue for antique fairs with normally 2 held a month. This is one of a number of events held throughout the UK to promote the hobby. The main focus of the event is sales stalls to enable collectors and dealers from a wide area to buy and sell. Ours is one of the smaller events but people will still travel over 100 miles to attend .The club also organizes displays by individuals who show off their specialist collections and also collective displays from club members.Displays for 2009 yet to be decided, previous years displays have included stoneware hot water bottles , coloured soda syphons , Bournemouth pot lids , Dorset cream pots and items from many Dorset and Hampshire towns and companies.
