Dorset Federation's 2005 AGM
 
Pensioners' Issues Highlighted
 
John Cherrett, Chairman of the Wessex Pensioners' Convention was the guest speaker at the Annual General Meeting of the Dorset Federation of Residents' Associations. 
 
He highlighted the problems faced by seniors and spoke on the Pensioners' Charter copies of which are being sent to all Members of Parliament.
 
The Federation's Secretary Wendy Herring reported that the Dorset Federation is streamlining its administration with a view to forming a number of sub-committees in order to deal with the numbers of matters of concern to residents.
 
Officers elected to the Federation's Executive Committee include 
John Hosker (Chair)
Wendy Herring (Secretary)
David Young (Treasurer) and Lomond Handley (Vice Chair).
 
The Dorset Federation of Residents' Associations welcomes applications for affiliation from residents' associations throughout Dorset, including Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
