The 5th National Conference will take place at the University of Reading on Saturday 24th April 2004. Reading is handy for members living in London and the Home Counties, but it is also one of the most accessible towns of the country, as it has excellent road, rail and airports connections. We hope to attract members from throughout the UK and Eire.

A registration form was included with Pituitary News (Issue 29), which must be completed and returned to the Bristol office to reserve your place. Please do not be put off from registering in advance - we are fully aware of the ups and downs of pituitary conditions (and life in general) and a full refund will be given if you need to cancel before 16th April.
We have taken on board past requests from members and so plan to include new
workshops on:

Teenagers’ Workshop
Kallmann’s Syndrome
Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN)
Stress Management
DHEA (Hormones and Research) Workshop
Social Gathering
Many of you have requested an opportunity to meet up with other members before or after the conference and as a result of this we have suggested a couple of times and venues on the registration form. So if you are interested in having extra time to chat to both patients and their carers, please let us know.
Hotel and Virgin Train Charity Line Discounts
We hope to offer you discounts on both accommodation in Reading and transport (using the Virgin Charity train line scheme) to make it as affordable as possible. Details of these are on the registration form. Hope to see you there!
