Where and when.

We go on many camps. usually one of the first in the year is called Maybe camp, around May time and it is usually in the New Forest.
The other annual camp is around November time, called Valkirie camp, held at Osmington Bay, with lots of activities to do, such as aeroball and trampolining.
Two years ago and this year, we have been to Kemble airfeild in Glousteshire, where we can go flying in gliders and parascending with an instructor. Last year, I went parascending, gliding and flying, but this year i was not allowed. Staying around camp was not bad though, as i got to meet some people from other troops around the country.
We sometimes camp in Butchers coppice which is just down the road from us. Most people know it like the back of their hand, but others, who have just joined, need to get to know their way around, it is not big, but it is spooky at night when you get up to go to the toilets!!
We have also camped in Buddens Farm and many scout headquarters.
A lot of our seniors have taken part in ten tors.
