Joyriders.
 | Unfortunately, Kinson Common with all its valuable assets, still experiences its problems.This vehicle was driven onto a very sensitive area and set alight. |

Fires.
 | Fires are a real problem, particularly on the heathland.
The Friends always report fires as soon as possible and would ask all visitors and residents to do likewise. |

Fly Tipping
 | Again, a continuing problem,
as this picture shows.
Anyone caught in the act can be heavily fined. |
|
Pollution.
 | Pollution in our stream does of course , pose a serious problem for wildlife.
This picture shows the results of cooking oil dumped illegally. We are always grateful to the Environment Agency for their prompt response to our calls. |

Tree Damage
 | An enormous amount of damage has been caused to mature trees on site over the past few years as this picture shows.
This problem appeared to have been caused mainly by children using saws and axes. |

Play Area.
 | Even the childrens play area on Poole Lane Meadows is not exempt from problems.
Here a fire was lit on top of one piece of equipment and a broken bottle placed
underneath ! |

Motor cycling
 | This is of course illegal and causes much damage to very sensitive areas especially the heathland.
We would urge anyone seeing these activities to report them to the Police a.s.a.p
Please do not get involved yourself. |

Tithe boundary
 | This very ancient boundary was dug away to make a BMX track.
Thankfully it was fully restored.

Grazing
 | | Illegal grazing has been a problem in the past. |
|
Bird box
 | This is all that is left of a bird box fixed in 2004.
This is a criminal act under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

Alcohol
 | | Consumption of alcohol on site is now banned , but as you can see it is still causing problems |
