Please beware of hedgehogs out and about at night!
 | Mr. Archibald Hedge Hog is a renowned and respected figure in the Hog world.
He reliably informs us that his ancestry dates back to the time when he and his family stowed aboard a long ship belonging to William the Conqueror which eventually anchored near Hastings.
From there, it was a long hard struggle to get to Kinson in Dorset where they eventually settled. Apart from a few occasional "prickly" problems, life has been very good for the local Hogs.
As the centuries passed, strange and weird inventions pulled by horses began to disturb the peaceful lanes and banksides. More recently, steam engines gave way to petrol and diesel powered vehicles.
Archibald states that some of his clan are finding it very hard, especially the elderly, to cross the busy roads around Kinson at night.
He pleads for all drivers to slow down and to let them cross to the other side safely, at all times of the year.
We are pleased to be able to pass on Archibald`s genuine request. |
