The power of the Sun at sunset

The Sun has been unusually active recently. This has resulted in some very fantastic sunsets.

Many people do not equate this activity with the
wonderful world of astronomy, which it really is!

Always carry a camera with you at the ready!

One has to be quick as the setting Sun soon quickly disappears and unfortunately it does not hold still for one moment for anyone.

A fading light provided another opportunity

The modern digital camera is a wonderful tool to use and another photograph was quickly captured.

It is often said that a quick snap shot is better
than spending a long time trying to get the correct exposure.

Another Kinson sunset

Mid Summer`s Day in 2003

Just as sunset is approaching, a storm brews.

Instead of enjoying the extra daylight

It is time to seek cover!

The dark and angry clouds pass

The storm soon passes over central Kinson. Sadly no sunset is enjoyed.

A short while later, some stars appear and a tiny speck of low light in the south west, which is Jupiter, is briefly seen.

Better luck in 2004!
