Welcome to the wonderful world of Astronomy in Kinson
 | The Moon.
A fascinating object to observe with the naked eye or through binoculars. |
|
The Moon
 | It goes through phases each month and is always a pleasure to observe. |

|
Jupiter in close up
 | None of its four main Galilean moons are featured
in this back garden photograph. |
|
Venus
 | Fun photograph.
It is always a pleasure to observe Venus when these opportunities arise. |
|
Saturn
 | A real gem in the night sky. It fascinates everyone who first focus upon it, including the
local brownies of the Kinson district.
It is probably, one of the most beautiful objects
in the night sky.
When fully opened, its rings are truly magnificent. |
|
The Sun
 | This small photograph depicts a recent photograph
of the Sun as it was setting.
Never look at the sun directly as its damaging
power is awesome. It is best to project the
Sun through a telescope and then to photograph it safely using proper equipment.
So please, do take extreme care when looking at or
when considering photographing the Sun.
