A New Centre - a place to meet in West Christchurch
Located in Marlow Drive between the row of shops and the new block of flats, the Hall has generous parking facilities as a designated part of the shoppers car park.
The Jubilee Hall is on the ground level. It has a sprung dance floor, lots of natural light for day time use, and lights which are dimmer controlled.
A hatch open to the hall from the kitchen to help with serving refreshments. The kitchen is well equipped with a professional six burner range with ovens and grill, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, quality crokery and cutlery. All new chairs and tables enable flexible use of the hall such as for dining, meetings or conferences. Up to 100 people can be accomodated depanding on the intended use.
The Britannia Room
This on the upper floor, provides comfortable quietly pleasant surroundings suitable for many uses. Therapy, study, meetings, craft activities
The room is light and well equipped
The Hall on the Hill holds regular activities
such as Yoga, Line dancing, Ballroom dancing, Sequence dancing, Age Concern Drop-in, Brownies, Travel Writers Club Travel Study, Martial Arts, Weight Watchers, Keep Fit. Further details will be included here in due course, but are available on the Hall notice board
In addition to the regular events there is a Social Event Programme
with a least one event each month.
