After the Lord Mayors Show

The first team came down to earth with a bump after last weeks win over Charminster Saints took us to the top of the Premier League.
Away to Strouden Park, a team we have not played since defeating them in the 1998 Jukes Cup final.
It all started so well with Jammie hitting the net after 20 minutes with an unstoppable shot.
Bonus and Nicky Phillips had good chances to increase our lead before, as we have done in the past, we went to sleep and gifted Strouden 2 soft goals before half time.
The second half we were no better and were punished by a Strouden team knocking the ball around well. They doubled their goals tally to win 4-1.
Still no game next week so the players can do their sleeping in bed.
