The Christchurch Society of Woodturners number about 60 individuals, at all levels of skill from experts to beginners, from around the Dorset and Hampshire area all with a keen interest in woodturning. We meet in Mudeford Wood Community Centre, Pipers Drive, Mudeford BH23 4TR on the 3rd Thursday evening of every month at 7.30. At our meetings we run competitions, have demonstrations and hold workshop nights. Occasionally we will invite guest/celebrity wood turners to hold day long demonstrations and talks on Saturdays.
Prospective members are welcome to any two meetings before they are expected to take up membership.
Weekend events are also open to non-members at a small charge on the day. |
