The Medieval Markets and Fairs of Christchurch

We have just published our first booklet entitled "The Medieval Markets and Fairs of Christchurch" written by our member David Eels. This 32-page booklet has been produced to commemorate the 750th anniverary of the first St. Faith's Fair, held in Christchurch in October 1258. David is donating all proceeds from the sale of the booklet to the funds of The Christchurch Antiquarians. Copies may be purchased at the Red House Museum and other local retailers. In case of difficulty, please contact the Secretary, where copies may be obtained at a cost of £3.50 plus postage and packing.
