RICHARD ZELLEY-MARY ANN WHITE FAMILY
This is the story of the ZELLEY-WHITE Families of Weymouth, Dorset. It included my great grandfather WILLIAM JOHN SIMPSON ZELLEY and his spouse ELIZABETH ANN BAKER. They were married at the Parish of the Holy Trinity at Weymouth, September 6, 1875. William was residing at 13 Trinity Street and Elizabeth was residing at No 1 Hope Street at the home of her father RICHARD BAKER.
Witnesses to the marriage were WILLIAM G BAKER and MARIA S ZELLEY.
Three children were born in Weymouth ANNIE SUSAN, ELIZABETH KATE and LOUISA ROSE ZELLEY. Louisa was born on May 1, 1881 at No. 1 Hope Street. Weymouth.
Many years later, in Canada Louisa Rose Zelley would marry ALBERT TIMMS. Their son was born in Alberta by the name of ALBERT WILLIAM TIMMS. In recent years the TIMMS CENTRE FOR FINE ARTS at the University of Alberta was named after A. W. TIMMS
for his generous donation to the University.
My name is BRIAN W ZELLEY, I am a great grandson of William and Elizabeth and a great nephew to LOUISA ROSE ZELLEY and a second cousin to ALBERT WILLIAM TIMMS. |
