Under16s

Cromwell Under16s had an excellent season, this year as they finished the season in second position, just behind the Newport Corinthians. They had a promising start, as they beat the Corries in the early games very convincingly. After 22 games, Cromwell had won 21 and drawn 1. But the semi-finals of the cup came along against Newport Corinthians, and Cromwell just didnt perform, and ended up losing their unbeaten record for the season. After the semi finals the team started to underachieve and lost their momentum. It all came down to the last game. Whoever won would win the league, but the Corries had he advantage, beause if it was a draw, then the Corries would win the game. During the game, the Corries goalie had injured himself, and the game had to be abadoned for a few minutes. After the incedent, the game continued and the game ended in a draw. The Corries won the league, and a dejected Cromwell ended the season second
