Information on the club

Cwmcarn Angling Club is an angling club which have been going for a number of years. We have got a few life members, and also cater for juniors and seniors of both sexes. This year the club have been taken over by new officers. These people are (Chairman) Mr Gavin Padfield of Cwmcarn, (Vice Chairman) Mr Clive Rowlands of Pontllanfraith & (Secretary/Treasurer) Mr Richard Morgan. also of Pontllanfraith. The club have 1 good fishing water situated at Cwmcarn Scenic Drive. It gets stocked with rainbow trout on a regular basis, there are also brown trout which must be returned to the water alive.competitions are held for juniors and seniors. There are no day or weekly fishing tickets available. If you are a caravanner and come to Cwmcarn Scenic Drive, you are welcome to join our club.
