ANNUAL BOXING DAY 5 MILE FUN RUN

The Boxing Day 5 Mile Fun Run has become a tradition in the South East Wales area,
Runners from far a field who are visiting home for the festive season often turn up to take part and enjoy the after race “ambience”.
All of the runners and camp followers meet in the bar after the race for a drink and a chat with friends old and new.
John, the host of the Oasis Club always makes everyone welcome and puts on some tasty soup and bread rolls to warm up the runners after the race.
Some people treat the race seriously while others just like to run for fun in fancy dress just to get rid of some of that xmas pud.
