This is my second letter to the guest book, I was hoping that a lot more entries would have been entered since my last effort.
If anyone has any information on Mary Legge who lived opposite the public library in Brynmawr, I would like to contact Her.
We were freinds back in the 1950s I now live in Western Australia and would like to know how Mary is getting on.

trevor rowson was my nans brother and what a character . deeply passionate about this area ,he always had an interesting story to tell .he so deserves to be remembered .well done NAG !

I lived in Nantyglo in 1933 to 1937 when we moved to Reading so that Dad could find work.I went to the old school which I understand has been pulled down. We lived off the Dram road. I had a school pal called Edgar, also a girl called Renna Bowen, she must be about 80 years old now, and Edgar around 74. I think when he married he lived local. We used to play in the Barley Field. When the Prince of Wales came I was given a pair of hob nailed boots. Would have liked a mug like the English boys. come on then is Edgar and Renna still with us, I would just love to see them again.
