December/January

Well Christmas is here with us once again. It seems to come round faster each year and each year the promise of snow gets greater.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish a very merry Christmas to all our readers, supporters and distributors. This newsletter would not exist without the support of an awful lot of people. Firstly There are the dozens of people who distribute the newsletter each month. Such community spirit deserves greater recognition because the newsletter is lost without them. Then there are all the people and organisations who gave financial support throughout the last year. Many of the organisations use the newsletter to let the community know what they are up to throughout the year and I hope their support reflects the value they place on this modest enterprise. Thanks also go out to the advertisers who have lined up every month, even on the understanding we cannot guarantee to include their ad. Advertising with the newsletter is as much a community service as anything else. Finally thanks go to all the public spirited individuals who have made donations through the year.
Merry Christmas and God bless us everyone.
