Opdima Appeal

The Group has been involved in raising funds for theOpdima Appeal for the North Hants Hospital. Anne Vickery a founder member of the group has taken charge of fundraising since October 2005. This has involved writing to local businesses and communities and has resulted in many fundraising events with a successful outcome.
The Opdima unit is a digital mammography imaging system consisiting of a work station and digital detector cassette. It functions as an attachment to a conventional mammography set and is fully compatible with the current equipment at the North Hants Hospital.The cost of this equipment is £79850.
