Bedhampton Bowling Club is a flat green bowls club situated in Bidbury Mead, a large tree-ringed sports and recreation ground, adjacent to Bedhampton Road. We play on a traditional grass green, comprising six rinks; all maintained to a high standard and have a modern club house with catering facilities. The club also has a boules terrain.
Pedestrian access to the club is available from Bedhampton Road, whilst car parking is provided within Bidbury Mead in close proximity to the green. Vehicular access to the recreation ground is from the south via Bidbury Lane.
We are a friendly and welcoming club, having in the region of 100 members (both playing and social), but are always looking for more. All standards of play are catered for, including beginners. The club enters teams in the local leagues, arranges friendly matches and has organized roll-ups and competitions during the season. Social events are arranged throughout the year.
Touring clubs are welcome and will find the area is well served by hotels, there being two Warners on Hayling Island just a few miles away. The cities of Portsmouth, with its maritime history, and Chichester are within a ten mile radius
